A Lotte Horses is offering a preferred horse lesson package, sometimes known as a lease.  This means you can choose your horse and always ride the same horse for a period of 6 months, minimum.

 

Riders gain confidence as they build a bond with their preferred horse, and strengthen their ability to succeed with all aspects of their riding, the more they get to know their horse.

 

All riders requesting to lease must have had at least 2 lessons riding their requested horse/pony.

 

Please contact us to clarify any existing verbal agreements - all existing preferred horse verbal agreements are due for review before September 1st.

Lease inclusions/details - 6 months, 26 weeks

1+1 LEASE - $440 per month ($32 savings on rates)

One weekly lesson plus a weekly uninstructed ride.

 

Bronze 2+1 Lease - $700 per month ($44 savings)

Two weekly lessons plus a weekly uninstructed ride.

Silver 2+1 (1xJr App) Lease - $800 month ($52 savings)

Two weekly lessons, one of JrApprentice* plus a weekly uninstructed ride.

Gold 2+1 (2xJrApp) Lease - $860 month ($100 savings)

Two days Jr Apprentice*, and weekly free ride.

• Uninstructed rides are offered weekly (requires adult supervision and our approval)

• The lease period is 6 months

• *Note calendar - some holiday weeks Jr Apprentice and JumpClub and not available, regular lessons offered.

• The agreed preferred horse is available to you during your lessons and scheduled uninstructed rides, as agreed. 

• Regular riding lessons and Jr Apprentice may include some jumping, at the discretion of the instructor.

• Preferred program riders get first priority to ride their horse or pony in all their lessons as well as horse shows and for any extra rides.

• Riders build confidence as they build a bond with their preferred horse, and strengthen their ability to succeed with all aspects of their riding, the more they get to know their horse.

• Preferred program riders have priority to book their horse or pony to take to a horse show until 28 days before the show. The use of leased horses by other riders in horse shows will be offered by request after this date.

• Riders leasing are expected to visit the ranch 2-3 x a week and help care for their horse, even if lessons are cancelled and the weather is bad. This includes mucking, grooming, feed, watering, medications, hand walking, riding extra (with approval), as deemed appropriate by Lotte.

• If riders are on holiday, we expect communication 7 days in advance so we can make arrangements to cover your missed days.

• More than one rider can share the same preferred horse for lessons and shows, provided they ride in separate lessons/classes, with the exception of jump club where two riders may share.

• Lease fees will only be listed under the preferred horse program. We will register your rider as a preferred horse program participant at the selected level, and enroll them in the specific riding classes as a fee exempt rider (this is to prevent confusion regarding payments).

• All fees are due by the 15th of the month for the following month. Fees not paid by the 25th of the month for the following month will incur a $50 fee.
